Once I came across a story where three artists were being asked to render their artistic works in order to determine who the best out of these three artists was. One drew a picture of flowers that attracted bees. Another one drew a picture of a plate full of fish which drew the attention of cats. Another one drew a picture of a curtain that even deceived humans and they anxiously awaited to know what was behind the curtain.
Finally, the artist who was capable of deceiving the humans was awarded the best prize and acknowledged as the best artist as he was only capable of deceiving humans who were the best of all creatures on nature’s floor.
But we humans hardly care about the rudimentary essence of the story where deception was the only axiom and grossly ignore how we humans too were deceived by an individual’s hoodwinking ability and considering him as the best out of the three artists, despite all were aiming to deceive. Sadly we tend to offer our fervor and tribute to those who are detrimental to mankind. For the time being, we are so much clouded with such hoodwinking design of a few that we cannot fathom their intentions and making them as cult to satiate our unattainable desires and bestow our regard to them not focusing their pernicious claim on us and make huge ruckus in our social fabric where we are forced to catch fish on troubled water which eventually go in vain. Fishes breathe in water but we humans need to breathe air and if few vitiate it, we have no choice apart from experiencing ignominious death.
Presently the deception genre is obsessed with their fancy and ruling the world where honesty is taking a backseat. The masks are being put on by the majority so articulately in this modern world where we humans can hardly distinguish between original and masks. So, the poor majority are being forced to deceive. Deception is nowadays becoming the champion by suppressing the original with a cloud of confusion largely being designed by modern technology. Technology is necessary in the modern era for ushering mankind with a positive note to explore. But, on the contrary, it too has an adverse impact where humans are simply hypnotized and have no say apart from aligning with technology. When an ailing visits a doctor, the concerned doctor will advise him to go for clinical tests where patients have no choice apart from following the doctor’s dictum. Thus technology is rapidly replacing human instincts largely being acquired by centuries-long experiences. Thus, technology is replacing human acumen and largely enveloped myriad as prey only to ensure profits and wealth only to surrender with large few technological giants whose aspirations are attained with skyrocketing pace with their manufactured devices.
Human endeavor and human labor are utterly engulfed by humanly devised transactions of business where only a few businessmen are garnering wealth and profits and making the majority impoverished and even dare not to take measures for them to perish.
Here I must acknowledge the creative mind of the artists I mentioned at the beginning of my story and surprisingly behind the curtain, all nefarious acts are being performed without an iota of qualms. I wonder why the artist opted to draw a picture of a curtain!! If his imagination was triggered by his brain and played the domineering role in navigating his vision then what about his appetite and metabolism which enabled him to draw a picture of an object of riddle and confusion? We can claim that we humans are the most superior out of all creatures on this planet Earth, but neither cats nor bees have any inclinations to deceive humans as well their own community purposefully. Besides, only humans can devise such nefarious designs with the luxury to deceive people within their own community without any valid sense of integrity. Their only aspiration to serve the interests of the few while the majority are on the tenterhook and subjected to sheer misery. Hoodwinking is a strategy that only human consider as an asset and a weapon only with an aspiration to feed few and enjoy the plight of the majority who are starving with immense pain and their energies are going to drain, not even allowing them to dream apart from experiencing sheer disdain!
Art of life and living is now how to keep the majority of people in distress, but they are forced to accuse themselves of their mess. This is what we in the modern world call “Innovation” where humanity is subjected to utter decimation and where whoever is best to perform such inhuman zest is only considered as the most talented brain to proliferate in restless trait.
